Therapists near Cathedral helping All Clientele with Communication Skills
Michael White M.Ed.
Michael White Psychology & Therapy Services PC
Registered Psychologist
Mike believes that psychology is a joint effort between a person and their therapist. Psychology is not about labelling; it is about helping people understand their own strengths and resilience. Respect for the client’s personal and cultural knowledge is at the centre of the caring relationship. From that respect change and improvement grows. Many mental health challenges have social and historical roots. With practice clients can learn to move beyond the past towards a healthier life.
Mike completed his Master of Education degree in Educational Psychology in 2007 and he has been a Registered Psychologist with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists (#751) since 2008. He holds an Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE), which allows Mike to make a diagnosis. He is an approved mental health service provider through Indigenous Services Canada. Mike has worked in public school settings and in private practice both in Northern Saskatchewan and in Regina. He has been in the education field for more than 20 years. Prior to working in education, Mike worked on policy and advocacy in federal and provincial government institutions.

Jessica Murphy BA, MSW, RSW VIDEO THERAPY
Professional Psychologists and Associated
Therapist and Clinical Social Worker
I have 23 years working in mental health and my focus is on clients with depression, anxiety, self harm, suicidal ideation, grief, and trauma. We work to increase their coping skills, increase self esteem, and minimize negative feelings and behaviors such as suicidal ideation or self harm. The goals of therapy are discussed at the first session and the client decides what will be most beneficial for them. As the therapist, my goal is to ensure it is manageable, discuss expectations, and how to move forward in the counselling process. Counselling is a tool to be used when needed. LGBTQIA2S+ welcome.
I use an eclectic approach to counselling depending on the client/s and their needs. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Strengths Based, and Trauma Informed. Each client is individual and needs to have a tailored therapy plan that is unique to them and their needs. The client decides the goals and direction of sessions.
I like to help clients reach their goals and see improvement in their lives. Counselling should be holistic and include all aspects of life. I like to consider all aspects of my client including race, culture, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. It is important for clients to feel comfortable and I work to make every client feel heard in my practice.
Keli Brown RPC-C VIDEO THERAPY
KB Counselling Services
Registered Professional Counsellor Candidate (CPCA)
Keli Brown at KB Counselling Services offers mental health counselling therapy and support to adult and adolescent individuals who may be experiencing a variety of struggles due to anxiety, depression, stress management, grief and loss.
I'm passionate about holding space and being physically, mentally, and emotionally present for everyone I encounter. It is my belief that when we do the deep healing work on ourselves, we are able to live a life that is full of happiness, peace and calm, strength and clarity.
I deeply value and respect the journey that someone may be on, and I find a sense of fulfillment walking alongside them wherever their roads may lead. I'm always in a state of curiosity and awe when working with each of my clients as no two stories are the same, but I believe each person has the same ability to direct their roads to one of healing and growth.
I help others by being a listening ear with guidance and offering and nudging in order for each to find their own strengths and abilities within. As humans we are forever growing, developing, and evolving and I serve to stand with you as you take part in life's journey.
Dr. Jaime Williams PhD
Psychological Services
Registered Doctoral Psychologist
People who seek my services often have difficulties with depression, anxiety, stress management, and overall adjustment concerns. Many have problems coping with feelings of grief and learning new ways to manage changing health status. Although I work primarily with clients who have general concerns, I also work with adults coping with a primary medical diagnosis, such as heart disease, chronic pain from disease or injury, cancer, stroke, and dementia. Being a patient or providing care for someone with these difficulties can leave many with feelings of depression, anxiety, and loss of meaning. I use strategies focused on mindful awareness of the self and the environment, along with behavioural techniques to aid in living a fulfilling and meaningful life while coping with a medical issue. I aim to create a supportive environment in which clients feel comfortable and safe to explore alternative ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Difficulty and challenging moments in our lives are often best dealt with in relationship; in times of uncertainty and transition, we often require caring and helpful professional services. I can provide you with the skills necessary to aid in dealing with overall stress and anxiety, as well as the changes that can occur with a chronic or acute illness.
