In the busy, hectic and somewhat nonsensical world of today, you can feel lost, confused, or stuck. I want to be there with you as you navigate these frustrating times. My clients are determined to work on the unanswered questions that life has thrown their way. Maybe you feel stuck in relationships – at work or in your personal life. Maybe society has made it incredibly unbearable for you to be you. Or perhaps you are going through a specific challenge that is making you feel helpless. It is in our nature to want to improve, to heal and move forward and upward. We are wired to survive. As Rumi says, what you are seeking, you already are. And you already have all the survival tools that you require to reshape your life the way you want it to be. In our work together, we will identify your goals in your life and in your relationships and work towards achieving them. We will tap into your strengths and together we will look for options that fit best for you. Change is hard. You don’t have to do it alone. Working with a caring, supportive, and compassionate therapist can help you to examine problems from a new light, identify solutions, and make the changes that are right for you. In our work together, I will get to know who you are, how you got here, and where you would like to go. My job is to be with you and to share the knowledge, experiences, tools and resources that can help you get there. I offer approaches such as narrative therapy, schema therapy, psychodynamic, CBT, and other modalities. As we work together, we will create a treatment plan tailor made for you. As a new Canadian and a Middle-Eastern woman of colour with experience living under an oppressive radical theocracy, my therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in having empathy towards those who find themselves stuck. We don’t all get to enjoy the privileges of race, wealth, health, or peace. Despite that, therapy can help us look at the narrative of our lives with compassion and empathy for ourselves. I am excited and passionate about helping you to reshape your story and find more peace.

**TAKING NEW CLIENTS** Are you feeling a sense of disconnection, to yourself, your purpose, or simply the world around you? Do you find yourself struggling to understand why you can’t “catch a break”? Through a progressive and integrative approach, we will give ourselves permission to open up and truly begin to understand what gives you meaning in life. The goal with this approach is to slow down together, and to walk along the path with, rather than having a therapist simply guiding you. By the end of our sessions, you will recognize your own strengths as building blocks, and your obstacles as learning opportunities. We will do this by practicing compassion and empathy towards all versions of the self. After all, your perception of the world is a reflection of how you see yourself, so let’s work from the inside out.

You look calm. You're functioning. People probably come to you for advice. But inside? It’s noisy. You’re doing a quiet kind of emotional triage—holding it all together for everyone else while quietly unraveling on the inside. You’re sensitive, thoughtful, and deeply tired of pretending you're fine. Maybe you're grieving, stuck in a big life shift, or just wondering when the version of life you're living is going to start feeling like yours. I don’t do quick fixes, silver linings, or performance coaching. I offer a steady, attuned presence—someone to sit with you in the fog and help you hear yourself again. We’ll move at a pace that feels human. Together, we make space for insight, clarity, meaning—and all the parts of you that usually get pushed aside. Therapy can feel like a risk. But you don’t need to show up with perfect words or a tidy story. Just show up as you are—messy, unsure, mid-process. I’ll meet you there.

My role is not to offer quick fixes or ready-made answers, but to walk alongside you as we uncover what you truly need—even when those needs may be buried under fear, guilt, or shame. Therapy is a space where different parts of yourself and your story can emerge and be met with compassion and curiosity. It is a process that asks for courage and trust, and my intention is to create a safe, supportive environment where both can grow. My approach weaves together Relational Therapy, EMDR, Mindfulness, Somatic Awareness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), all rooted in deep compassion. These modalities support clients in cultivating greater self-acceptance, clarity, and inner peace. If you’re here, it’s because some part of you already knows that change is possible. Choosing therapy is a brave and meaningful step toward healing, growth, and ease. Reaching out takes courage, and it is also a powerful act of self-care. Please email me to start.

There are times in life when we need someone to walk beside us. If you've been caught in patterns that limit your potential, new perspectives and strategies may be required as the catalyst you need to step into a new paradigm. I help people come to a deeper understanding about themselves and how they can show up in the world, to become empowered in relational dynamics, to replace autopilot reactions with intentional responses, and to transform fear into confidence. I work with adults who are experiencing anxiety and anxiety disorders, trauma and PTSD, BPD, issues with alcohol, and life transitions. As a relational and depth-oriented therapist, I make room for the exploration of symptoms, which are often the tip of an iceberg. I also offer professional hypnosis as a support; research shows that when combined with psychotherapy, it increases the effectiveness of therapy and can even expedite it. I provide a non-judgemental space for you to connect with what you really want. This can happen virtually through an encrypted portal that ensures the confidentiality of our work, or at my space just a short walk from Dundas West subway. Reach out for a consultation over video or in-person.

Does this sound familiar? You know you're capable of more, but that critical voice keeps whispering "what if you fail?" or simple tasks feel insurmountable. Maybe you swing between bursts of motivation and complete emotional exhaustion. You're juggling too many roles—high achiever, people pleaser, perfectionist—and wondering how much longer you can keep pushing through. There’s nothing wrong with you—you're just navigating a complex mix of pressure, overwhelm, and emotions that feel too big to manage. Whether you're caught in spirals of worry, feeling disconnected from what used to bring you joy, or struggling to stay motivated, I can help you transform exhaustion into sustainable energy and self-doubt into confidence. Our work together isn’t about forcing change—it’s about coming home to yourself. In our sessions, you’ll find a warm, non-judgmental space where it’s safe to just be you. Together, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back, and use practical, compassionate tools to create lasting, meaningful change—so you can feel like you again.
Christina Becker MBA, RP, Jungian Analyst
Open the Well of Self-Discovery
Psycho-Spiritual Psychotherapist and Jungian Analyst
The road to becoming a psychotherapist started with my own soul journey. As everyone who enters into therapy, my first experience of therapy was driven to find relief for suffering and emotional chaos. At midlife, my life felt empty and meaningless, and I needed to discover the parts of myself where there were life, joy and energy. The road took a different path as I went deeper and deeper into myself. This eventually took me to C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland. I found meaning, purpose and fulfilment in exploring Jung’s ideas and experiences. Since then, I have devoted myself to my individuation journey and that of my clients. Training to be a Jungian Analyst was an amazing, exhaustive and intense experience. It was a special and unique kind of training that consisted of extensive post-graduate academic studies, and a rigorous and lengthy personal analysis. I cultivated a depth, compassion for suffering, and an authentic awareness for what is true. Upon completion, I was awarded a Diploma of Analytical Psychology – a PhD equivalent – and which gave me the designation of Jungian Analyst. I am devoted to my personal individuation journey and I bring that same devotion to working with my clients. I am passionate about working with people who feel that they are on a quest for something. I call it an ineffable mysterious something. They know that there is something more than the symptoms. They feel called to explore the deeper questions of human existence. My practice is conveniently located in Roncesvalles Village, in the west end of Toronto. I offer a range of psychotherapeutic and counselling services to meet most people’s needs. In addition to my Jungian training, I studied astrology at the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London, England, and with Liz Greene through the Astrodeinst seminars in Zürich. I am a member of the Canadian Association for Sandplay Therapy and am actively completed my certification in this modality.
