Something's wrong; things may look fine on the surface, but a part of you is screaming for help. Maybe you know exactly what you want to address - issues at work, friction in relationships, or thoughts you want to stop, but can’t. Or maybe you've always felt this way, and don't know why. Maybe you've done all the "right" things: you've read the self-help books, tried CBT therapy, did meditation retreats, drank Ayahuasca in South America, and went to meetings or support groups. Maybe it all helped, but you can't shake the feeling that something's deeply wrong, something you can't explain, something that's hard to put into words.
You just want to feel better. You want that feeling of hope back, that sense in your heart that everything's going to be OK. You want to stop looking for it externally - through a drink or a pill, a person, or a social media post. You want to stop feeling like you're defective. You want to feel whole again. I can help you.
I know from experience that finding a therapist who makes you feel safe and knows how to address your specific issues can be challenging. I'd like to make that process easier with a free 15-minute conversation/consultation by video or phone. Please reach out and we'll explore the possibility of working together.

**TAKING NEW CLIENTS**
Are you feeling a sense of disconnection, to yourself, your purpose, or simply the world around you? Do you find yourself struggling to understand why you can’t “catch a break”?
Through a progressive and integrative approach, we will give ourselves permission to open up and truly begin to understand what gives you meaning in life. The goal with this approach is to slow down together, and to walk along the path with, rather than having a therapist simply guiding you.
By the end of our sessions, you will recognize your own strengths as building blocks, and your obstacles as learning opportunities. We will do this by practicing compassion and empathy towards all versions of the self. After all, your perception of the world is a reflection of how you see yourself, so let’s work from the inside out.

In the busy, hectic and somewhat nonsensical world of today, you can feel lost, confused, or stuck. I want to be there with you as you navigate these frustrating times. My clients are determined to work on the unanswered questions that life has thrown their way. Maybe you feel stuck in relationships – at work or in your personal life. Maybe society has made it incredibly unbearable for you to be you. Or perhaps you are going through a specific challenge that is making you feel helpless. It is in our nature to want to improve, to heal and move forward and upward. We are wired to survive. As Rumi says, what you are seeking, you already are. And you already have all the survival tools that you require to reshape your life the way you want it to be. In our work together, we will identify your goals in your life and in your relationships and work towards achieving them. We will tap into your strengths and together we will look for options that fit best for you.
Change is hard. You don’t have to do it alone. Working with a caring, supportive, and compassionate therapist can help you to examine problems from a new light, identify solutions, and make the changes that are right for you. In our work together, I will get to know who you are, how you got here, and where you would like to go. My job is to be with you and to share the knowledge, experiences, tools and resources that can help you get there. I offer approaches such as narrative therapy, schema therapy, psychodynamic, CBT, and other modalities. As we work together, we will create a treatment plan tailor made for you.
As a new Canadian and a Middle-Eastern woman of colour with experience living under an oppressive radical theocracy, my therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in having empathy towards those who find themselves stuck. We don’t all get to enjoy the privileges of race, wealth, health, or peace. Despite that, therapy can help us look at the narrative of our lives with compassion and empathy for ourselves. I am excited and passionate about helping you to reshape your story and find more peace.

Cappell Psychology
Clinical Psychologist
I’m a clinical psychologist who works with adults and couples seeking deeper insight, emotional clarity, and more meaningful connection. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and capable in so many areas of their life, yet carry a quiet sense that something isn’t quite right. They may feel stuck in relational patterns, disconnected from themselves or their partner, or unsure how to know and express what they truly need.
You might feel stuck in painful relational patterns that repeat despite your best efforts. Or maybe the idea of turning inward feels unfamiliar or even daunting, especially if you’ve learned to cope by staying in control, focusing on doing rather than feeling, or relying on logic and self-reliance to get through.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based model that explores the emotional roots of distress. EFT helps individuals and couples understand their inner experience with more compassion and communicate in ways that build safety, connection, and lasting change.
In our work together, I offer a steady, attuned presence and a space where all parts of you are welcome, even the ones that feel guarded, messy, or unsure. Rather than fixing, I aim to help you understand yourself more fully, shift long-standing patterns, and move toward greater emotional connection with yourself and with others.
If you’re longing for deeper connection, more security in your relationships, and a clearer understanding of your emotional world, I’d be honoured to support you on that journey.
I’m a registered psychologist in Ontario with a Master’s and Ph.D. in psychology. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions.

Coaching + Therapy for Entrepreneurs, Leaders and Creatives
Struggling to balance personal and professional aspirations, demands and challenges? Let's work together to clarify what's most important to you, then design your life and career to support it.
Hitting the same roadblocks in life, relationships, career or business is frustrating. It's difficult to see that despite your best efforts to move forward, you're constantly back where you started.
While coaching can offer a goal-oriented approach to getting what you want in life, sometimes it's not enough. If you find yourself circling back over the same issues, repeating the same relationships, encountering the same professional problems, a set of smart goals and a well-organized to-do list aren't likely to do the trick.
Seeking therapy doesn't mean you are broken. Therapy makes room for your entire self to come into focus, not just your professional self. It eases the pressure to perform and allows you to slow down and become aware of yourself in new ways.
I'll meet you where you're at, sometimes looking forward, sometimes looking back, and always helping you to develop solid roots anchored firmly in the present.

Christina Becker MBA, RP, Jungian Analyst
Open the Well of Self-Discovery
Psycho-Spiritual Psychotherapist and Jungian Analyst
The road to becoming a psychotherapist started with my own soul journey. As everyone who enters into therapy, my first experience of therapy was driven to find relief for suffering and emotional chaos. At midlife, my life felt empty and meaningless, and I needed to discover the parts of myself where there were life, joy and energy.
The road took a different path as I went deeper and deeper into myself. This eventually took me to C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland. I found meaning, purpose and fulfilment in exploring Jung’s ideas and experiences. Since then, I have devoted myself to my individuation journey and that of my clients.
Training to be a Jungian Analyst was an amazing, exhaustive and intense experience. It was a special and unique kind of training that consisted of extensive post-graduate academic studies, and a rigorous and lengthy personal analysis. I cultivated a depth, compassion for suffering, and an authentic awareness for what is true. Upon completion, I was awarded a Diploma of Analytical Psychology – a PhD equivalent – and which gave me the designation of Jungian Analyst.
I am devoted to my personal individuation journey and I bring that same devotion to working with my clients. I am passionate about working with people who feel that they are on a quest for something. I call it an ineffable mysterious something. They know that there is something more than the symptoms. They feel called to explore the deeper questions of human existence.
My practice is conveniently located in Roncesvalles Village, in the west end of Toronto. I offer a range of psychotherapeutic and counselling services to meet most people’s needs.
In addition to my Jungian training, I studied astrology at the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London, England, and with Liz Greene through the Astrodeinst seminars in Zürich. I am a member of the Canadian Association for Sandplay Therapy and am actively completed my certification in this modality.

As a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with over 15 years of experience, I am deeply committed to providing dedicated support to individuals and families navigating mental health challenges. Since 2018, my journey in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy has equipped me with a Somatic perspective, allowing me to explore the profound connection between trauma and the inherent wisdom within our bodies. My expertise spans various modalities, including Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, DBT, and parts work, all of which I employ through a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens.
A significant portion of my practice is devoted to serving the 2SILGBTQ+ communities, where I offer guidance on matters of gender and sexuality. I believe in delving into the complexities of our intersectional identities, stories, and oppressions, as they profoundly shape our experiences, joys, and challenges within ourselves and our relationships. Additionally, I provide invaluable support to families and caregivers navigating the intricate terrain of youth gender journeys, mental health and neurodivergent experiences. As a parent myself and decade of caregiver support I know that healing our selves allows us to show up for our kids in the ways they need.
On a personal note, my own journey of recovery from mental health challenges deeply informs my client-centered, strength-based approach. I take pride in my identity as non-binary and queer, embracing neurodiversity in all its forms.

In a world full of competing ideas, opinions and expectations, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Our inner critics can be so loud, and even the voices of those we love can add to the noise. This can make it hard to figure out what’s truly right for us, which can leave us feeling stuck and uncertain.
Sometimes, it can be helpful to slow down and pause– to have a space to reflect, explore and make sense of what is happening, and to know that you are not walking through it all alone. I aim to create a warm, compassionate, and client-centered therapeutic space, recognizing that your experiences are unique and nuanced.
Your experiences are unique and nuanced, so my hope is that when you are in the therapy room, you feel safe, seen, and heard. Together, we can work toward helping you gain the clarity and the confidence to live in a way that aligns with what you value most. I would love to connect with you and help you discover what flourishing amidst life’s challenges can look like for you.

As a Registered Social Worker providing Individual and Family Therapy, my aim is to support clients in achieving their best hopes, and attaining the visions they have for themselves and their lives. I work to help people recognize and benefit from the capabilities and strengths they already possess, and uncover new and exciting ways of being. I specialize in infant, child, and youth mental health. Working for over twelve years, I feel fortunate to have met with, and supported clients from varying backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. I use a variety of approaches in my practice, and have knowledge in addressing diverse issues including worries, anxiety, anger, relationships, parenting, behaviour, and stress. Therapy often involves looking more closely at what drives us, how we cope and succeed when faced with challenges, and the stories we tell ourselves and others about who we are.

Many things can affect us deeply in our lives. We all have times when we feel stressed and overwhelmed, or confused and lost. Perhaps you are unable to cope, or find yourself stuck in a pattern that is unhealthy or no longer serves you. Your feelings may seem unmanageable and impede your enjoyment of life. Or perhaps you do not feel enough, feel empty or feel nothing at all.
At times like these, counselling and psychotherapy can help.
Whether you are experiencing difficult emotions, challenged with relationship issues, feeling blocked or dissatisfied with life, or simply wanting nonjudgmental space to explore your life events, I invite you to contact me.

Hello, I’m a Registered Social Worker (MSW) and Psychotherapist working virtually with clients in Ontario. I provide a safe and caring space to explore the struggles you are facing and guide you towards understanding, healing and overall balance in life. I work from an integrated, holistic approach. This means therapy is collaborative - you already have many strengths and inner wisdom; I shed light and guide you to identify how thought patterns, reactivity and perhaps old wounds keep you stuck. Through evidence-based, mind-body and spiritual approaches we work together so you can start to live with more balance, clarity and joy.
I work with clients experiencing chronic stress, challenges with mood, life transitions, relationship difficulties and various degrees of trauma.
I am a fellow traveller on the journey to healing and so I am honoured to work alongside you.
