As a therapist, I work collaboratively with my clients with a non-judgmental approach. I believe you are the expert in your own story and that the same approach does not work for everyone. I know that reaching out for support is often the most difficult step. I do my best to create a safe space where you can feel comfortable opening up at your own pace.
Now offering video and phone sessions for those who have barriers preventing them from coming into the office.

Brianna Kestle, Registered Psychotherapist & Art Therapist
Registered Psychotherapist, Art Therapist
Hi, I'm Brianna and my pronouns are she/her. I'm an Art Therapist and I love helping kids with their big feelings! Art can help to express emotions in a way that words alone can't, and it can be especially helpful for kiddos who might have a hard time talking about their feelings. Art can give us a space to dump our messy feelings, to acknowledge them and be with them (even the uncomfortable ones).
Andrea Kauppinen MSc, RP VIDEO THERAPY

Andrea offers therapy services for individuals, couples, families and groups in Ontario via a secure video platform, and can conduct sessions by telephone where appropriate. Clients find her easy to talk with and appreciate how much she respects them and cares about their experiences.

She tends to work collaboratively with clients and tailors the approach to their needs. The approach is often grounded in attachment and trauma theory and is sensitive to specific needs arising from the diverse backgrounds and identities of clients. Strengthening skills, such as managing emotion, thought and behaviour, is integrated as needed to meet client goals.
Jennifer Coleman MSW, RSW
Perspective Counselling
Counsellor
The problems each of us face can seem insurmountable but by working together and taking the problem apart or finding abilities and strategies uniquely suited to the person, couple or family, we can find solutions that fit them.
Anxiety and depression often seem to keep their grip on us, but developing new insights and ways to strengthen one's ability to withstand them helps to reduce and even eliminate their presence. One approach, I use, is to work at improving self-esteem by identifying positives that the client will overlook. Also, I help the client find ways that are best suited to them to learn new behaviour and thought patterns which enhance helpful ideas.
For couples and families, I don't take sides and tell people what way to resolve their differences. Rather, I help them with concepts and strategies that help them find ways to communicate and compromise to live together with less distress.

Registered Psychotherapist
In her book The Gifts of Imperfection, Bréné Brown says that “owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do”. It is my privilege as a Psychotherapist to provide space and support as individuals dive into the stories of their lives and do the hard work of healing. Trained in EMDR, I’m grateful to be able to provide an opportunity for individuals to release the emotional, mental, and physical blocks caused by trauma and other difficult life circumstances using this dynamic and evidence-based therapy.
I am committed to creating a safe environment and therapeutic relationship for my clients and strive to meet you where you are at with an approach that best suits your needs. My therapeutic technique draws not only on EMDR but also incorporates mindfulness-based, cognitive processing therapy, internal-family systems, DBT, neurobiological, and attachment-based therapies.

Often our journeys can lead us to so many choices, so many dreams, and so many despairs. There may have been times where you have had thoughts of stress, worry, anxiety, depression, and grief. You may have also experienced culture shock, overwhelmingness, and rejection. These experiences can often be physically and mentally exhausting, and there may be times where you felt like quitting. My goal is to work with you and provide a safe and supportive environment and offer the most effective and helpful mode of therapy to reach your personal growth.
I utilize techniques like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Having said that, I do not structure my practice so that you can only follow my therapy approaches; I structure therapy to fit you and provide you with the best support.
I value kindness, supportiveness, and encouragement. I believe in providing a caring and non-judgmental environment for you in an integrative approach through mindfulness, self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-development. If you would like to connect or if you have any questions, feel free to reach out and we can book a free consultation.

Social Worker / Counsellor / Therapist
Life can be painful, overwhelming, or just complicated. A gentle guiding hand can help you navigate the turbulent waters of life to find the change you are searching for. There are many reasons to seek out counselling and it can be a very scary thing to do. Tough memories from the past, a recent loss, mounting stress, or just feeling "stuck" can get in the way of experiencing life. There is no one reason and no one right moment to reach out and begin seeking answers to the questions you want to explore.
My approach is welcoming and invitational: to meet you where you are at while also confronting the issues at hand. The counselling relationship and respect that you are the expert in your own life is key to providing quality support. I look forward to sharing in the challenges, the laughs, and the changes that make counselling the journey that it is.
I offer weekday and evening appointments for individuals and couples. I have experience working with folks ages 16+. I do not hold a waitlist. Free parking is also available. To learn more about me, or to schedule a free 30 minute in-person or phone consultation, I invite you to get in touch.

Suffering from time to time is inevitable, but perhaps many of us don't know how to do it productively when we are overwhelmed. We all need supportive relationships sometimes, and many of us a little compassionate guidance in the process of understanding ourselves, easing our suffering, and creating more harmony within. Sometimes different parts of ourselves compete for soothing and a sense of safety, leaving us divided, overwhelmed and stuck. Traumatic experiences can rob us of our perspective and the feeling of being human. They can make us feel inept, unsafe, insignificant, isolated or worthless. But we are not, we are only human--among humans. Sometimes parts of us may feel at odds with other important people or entities in our lives, communities, the world, nature, the universe, or the spiritual realm.
Welcome to my practice, currently in my home office in Kitchener, Ontario. More than 25 years of training and experience in psychotherapy has brought me to the present, which is not my destination but an ever existing waypoint in my lifelong quest for learning and growth. I take my own healing and growth seriously. When I have room in my practice, I welcome adults 18 and up (or pre-existing child clients), individuals, couples and families. I welcome those struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma and relationship challenges. I welcome neuro-divergent clients struggling with impacts to their learning, relationships and sense of identity and safety in the world. I am happy to consult with parents struggling to help their children with mood, behaviour, stress and challenges to learning and development. I may serve you if your needs align with my being the right person, at the right time and place for you.
My approach to therapy mostly integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) and understanding the nervous system (polyvagal theory), as well as many other elements of Behaviour Therapies (CBT/DBT), Narrative , Psychodynamic, Body-centred, Mindfulness, Attachment, Play therapy and Systemic Couple and Family Therapies.
Dr. Billie-Rose Cameron MD VIDEO THERAPY
Billie-Rose MD Psychotherapy
Psychotherapist
Psychotherapy is change-focused and positively-directional talk therapy. It can be difficult to heal on our own and it often helps to have a professional, in this case an MD., witness and help guide through the healing journey. Impacts from events usually happen in relationship and thus healing can be more effective in a therapeutic relationship. Being present with another is often what is needed to bring about change. Dr Billie-Rose Cameron has been trained in using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach to psychotherapy as well as Solution Focused Psychotherapy. She works from a belief that we are already complete and that impacts from life’s events have covered up our true self. With curiosity, compassion and courage, we can access our own solutions, values and strengths to do more of what works and allow for more compassion, peace, harmony and well-being in our lives.

Alicia House RP
KW Mental Health & Wellness
Registered Psychotherapist
Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my bio. My name is Alicia, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a Certified Music Therapist. My life story and journey with my mental health led me to this beautiful career; I am a wounded healer and wear that badge proudly. In my work as a therapist, I am deeply honoured by the opportunity to partner with individuals as they experience healing and transformation in their lives. In the therapy space, whether virtual or in-person, I aim to cultivate an environment that is safe and non-judgemental. I acknowledge that we are two real human beings coming together, developing a therapeutic relationship, and that - ultimately - you are the expert on your life.
Areas of Focus:
- Trauma, PTSD, and C-PTSD
- Addiction
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Self-esteem/self-worth
- Co-occurring diagnoses (i.e., having more than one diagnosis/presenting concern).
I am rooted in a holistic, relational, and trauma-informed approach to wellness, and firmly believe that our creativity is an outward expression of our inner world. I have training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, addictions counselling, trauma-informed approaches, and mindfulness techniques. I am also trained in music/creative arts therapy, which means I specialize in utilizing creative mediums as important and transformational tools in the therapy space (i.e., creating and listening to music, doing artwork, drama, movement, etc.). I typically implement a mix of talk therapy and creativity in sessions, depending on what is going to be best for your personal journey.
I have a master’s degree in Music Therapy/Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University. I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT).
I am truly looking forward to connecting with you.
