Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist
Accepting new online clients. Therapy is a space where you can show up as your authentic self, process feelings and experiences, deepen your understanding of yourself and facilitate growth. Your comfort and safety are the top priority as you navigate this journey. I strive to provide an environment that honours your individuality, celebrates your strengths, and builds on the skills and wisdom you already possess. I view therapy as a collaborative process and use a variety of approaches and modalities to tailor an intervention suited to your needs and goals.
I'm a Registered Social Worker providing individual mental health therapy to adults. I have been in clinical practice since 2021 and have 10 years of experience in frontline social services delivery. I love working with 2SLGBTQ+ people and immigrants/newcomers. My practice is grounded in non-judgment, anti-oppression, affirming care and cultural humility.
You deserve to be seen, heard and understood. Finding a clinician you connect with is the most important aspect of your therapeutic work. I would love to walk alongside you on your healing path. Please reach out to me for a free 15-minute discovery call to discuss your needs and determine if we may be a good fit.

My main areas of work are where problems with mental health and addiction overlap. I have a longstanding interest in co-occurring disorders. Helping people meet their addiction and mental health goals is the most gratifying part of my work.
Therapy with me integrates the science and philosophy of behaviour change. I like to bring compassion, humour, authenticity, and warmth to our work together.
If you are looking for help with addiction, grief, sadness, fear, or other problems with mental health, we may be a good fit. Please contact us with your questions.

You and I can work together to discover the right coping strategies that work well for you and find the best ways we can minimize your symptoms. If you’re ready to start your healing journey you found the right place.
I work with individuals aged 10 and above offering sessions in both English and Spanish. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, trauma and PTSD, stress, low self-esteem, relationship issues, BPD and more.
I offer an integrative approach consisting of finding what is best suited for you and your needs. This includes Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Person-Centred, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I struggled with anxiety before and sought out support because I knew I needed help managing it. It’s okay to feel nervous, uncomfortable, and uneasy when you begin your counselling journey. Still, I will do my best to create a safe and comfortable environment so that this can be a good experience for you.

Welcome to my profile, and congratulations on starting the first part of your process by looking for someone to help you move forward. A good client-therapist fit is essential for opening up. So I urge you to please click on the Website link so you can get a better feel for my tone and approach. I come from a strong academic and training background, but therapy isn't as clinical feeling as you may imagine. My clients frequently remark on how opening up is much more comfortable than they anticipated.
I work primarily from a psychodynamic orientation and integrate aspects of mindfulness when helpful. Through the therapy process clients can expect to learn and be aware of how to identify and communicate emotions, to learn how their past informs the present, and to gain a deeper understanding of relationships, including the client-therapist relationship.
Clients must make a commitment of at least bi-weekly (every second week) appointments. I do not provide once-a-month appointments or drop-in sessions.
