About
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), a Mindfulness-Based Trauma Therapist, Qualifying Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and Certified 400-hr Yoga Instructor offering individual counselling services in BC, Canada who uses the pronouns she/her. Beyond my professional designations, I encompass the role as a mother, loving partner, a friend, daughter, sibling, photographer, yogi, traveler, and, above all, a lifelong seeker of knowledge and wonder.
I believe therapy should feel like a real, human conversation—one where you feel seen, heard, and genuinely understood. My approach weaves together evidence-based practices with a gentle, compassionate presence, free from judgment. It’s not about fixing you, but about walking alongside you as we make sense of what’s been weighing on you and find ways to move forward. Our work together is shaped by who you are, how you understand yourself, and what has or hasn’t supported you in the past. I take a holistic, integrative approach, honouring the many layers that make you who you are—your relationships, experiences, thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and beliefs.
I believe healing happens in relationship, in moments where someone is willing to sit with you, stay open and curious, and help you hold your story with tenderness and care. Through deep listening and attuned presence, I aim to create a space where your experiences are not only validated, but gently explored. Together, we’ll focus on building insight, self-compassion, and practical tools you can carry into your everyday life—so you feel more grounded, more capable, and more aligned with what truly matters to you.
I offer both virtual and in-person counselling sessions in Surrey, BC, working with adolescents and adults in individual therapy. I warmly welcome people from all walks of life—across cultures, faiths, gender and sexual expressions, ages, and lived experiences—and approach my work through a culturally informed lens that honors the uniqueness of each person’s story. I believe the relationship we build together is a meaningful part of the healing itself, and I gently encourage you to choose a counsellor who feels like the right fit—someone who resonates with who you are, where you’ve been, and where you hope to go.
