About
Welcome and thank you for dropping by. My desire is to create a safe place for you to go when you don't know where else to go.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist under the CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario). Psychotherapy works to treat mental health concerns which promotes greater physical healing and recovery for an integrated whole health approach. I have a B.A. in Social Development Studies, a Masters’ Degree in Counselling, and a degree in theology, which has gives me keen insight into the human spirit. I have a genuine love of people and enjoy counselling individuals, families and couples. I bring a broad range of experience and expertise, with over 20 years of counselling experience.
I have also expanded my skill-set to help those working through the adoption process. With this training, I am able to understand and help in the healing process of family-based trauma and loss. This in turn helps facilitate and support permanence for children and families through adoption, kinship and customary care.
