About
As a child and adolescent psychologist, I am dedicated to helping children and their families feel supported and function at their best. Whether you are facing significant challenges with your child or just need some help getting through developmental stages, my goal is to provide strength based, effective interventions grounded in the latest research. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family therapy, or parent-child models may be used to treat specific problems such as anxiety, depression, attention difficulties/ADHD, oppositional behaviours, anger management, school refusal, and more. Additionally, I conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments of learning and/or behavioural difficulties.
My additional specialization is in early childhood mental health. I work with families dealing with a range of concerns including frequent crying, sleep difficulties, tantrums, attachment-related issues, autism spectrum disorders, or adjustment difficulties from life events such as parental divorce/separation, grief/loss, foster placements, child abuse and trauma.
There are times when every parent needs a bit of guidance. Single sessions, parent consultation, or short term services are also available.
