About
As a Clinical Psychologist, I have been trained and have the experience of working with clients who experience significant distress and/or mental illness.
I can complete psychological assessments, including for the purposes of accommodations at school/work, to access other services, or to help people better understand their difficulties. I also provide psychotherapy, and work to help clients rebuild a fulfilling and meaningful life where they can experience joy, peace and satisfaction.
I practice from a cognitive-behavioural and person-centred approach. I believe that each person knows themselves best, and I see my role as showing clients skills and helping them make sense of their difficulties. I understand that a client is more than just their challenges. I work to understand all parts of a client's identity and to support their healing.
I invite individuals to reach out to me if they are experiencing difficulties with their emotions (including feeling too much or not enough), relationships (including giving too much to others or not being able to maintain relationships), behaviour (including finding it hard to complete daily tasks or taking on too much), or anything else.
