Dr. Madalyn Marcus is a registered clinical psychologist who has extensive experience in psychological assessment and treatment of people with diverse clinical concerns including eating disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, self-harm behaviour, and interpersonal and adjustment related difficulties. While she has experience in a number of evidence-based treatments, her primary approach includes Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical-Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Regardless of the treatment model, Dr. Marcus has a warm and empathetic approach that fosters and builds off of peoples' strengths. She works in a collaborative fashion and is dedicated to assisting her clients achieve their therapeutic goals. Dr. Marcus's professional experience includes psychology positions in outpatient, inpatient, day hospital, community, and private practice settings. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from York University. When not working, Dr. Marcus enjoys spending time with her two children and her partner, being creative and active, and travelling when possible.
