About
I work from a strength based, insight oriented framework which offers my clients the opportunity to rediscover their self, the strengths they have but have lost the sight of or didn’t get the chance to appreciate. I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, LD/ADHD, ASD, low self-esteem; marginalized groups, racial minorities; individuals with identity struggles; people who want to build healthy self-assertion, resilience and an improved and positive relationship with self. I believe a positive and empathic relationship with self allows us the capacity to build meaningful and healthy relationships with people around us.
I offer assessments and therapy to adults. My orientation to therapy is primarily informed by EFT and I use process experiential approaches in my work with clients. I am also trained in Person Centered, CBT, DBT and solution focused therapies. To me, empathy is the most important tool in my work with clients and a vital contributor to the change process.
If you are ready to trust the process; willing to be open and expressive of your needs, prepared to commit and invest your time and be an active, collaborative and receptive participant in this collaborative journey, I am positive that growth and desired change through therapy is a realistic goal and we can work together towards this goal.
