About
You are an older teen, an adult, a man or woman, a family or couple interested in Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disability (LD), Executive functioning/ADHD, and accompanying depression, anxiety, and psycho-social issues. You are looking for Assessment and Diagnosis to help you access appropriate treatment or accommodations at school or at work and to make appropriate life plans or changes in your life. Social skills, friendships/relationships and communication may be an issue and you would like to understand your issues and learn how to change your thinking and have more successful behavior in these areas.
Our specialty is ASD, LD, ADHD/Executive function, and accompanying psycho-social issues assessment/diagnosis/treatment. We work with high functioning adults of all ages, males and females who may be experiencing ASD. We offer group interventions (notably PEERS for Teens or Young Adults social skill and relationship therapy) and individual consultation/counselling.
We focus on adult ASD issues/assessment/diagnosis. In addition to assessment/diagnosis and individual or couple counselling we offer PEERS social skills treatment. After 27 years in post-secondary (professor, assessor, learning strategist and counsellor) I understand student's needs, accommodations, and assistive services, and transition to employment and employment issues and post employment issues.
