About
I provide Psychological, Psycho-educational and Neuropsychological assessments for children, youth and adults. An assessment can often be helpful in order to understand the nature of an individual's learning needs, their emotional functioning and/or their behavior. It can provide specific diagnoses (e.g. ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities, Anxiety), or simply help to identify a person’s strengths and their needs. Ultimately, the goal of an assessment is to make recommendations that will promote wellbeing and help them to be successful. In addition to assessments, I also offer some individual therapy and parenting support. My clinical training was in the areas of Neuropsychology and Child and Adolescent Mental Health. For the past 16 years, I have worked in Pediatrics at Victoria General Hospital, and in the Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Service (Anscomb Program) at the Queen Alexandra Centre. In these programs, I provided psychological assessment and treatment for children and youth, as well as consultation to families and to multidisciplinary teams.
