My name is Courtney Schonauer, I am a registered psychologist with over 10 years experience. I have been fortunate to have worked in many different settings to build and tailor my expertise to form a skill set I bring to my private practice.
It is my belief that counselling needs to be fit to the client infront of me and their unique needs. Therapy sessions should be tailored to how each client processes and understands change to make the therapy most beneficial.
It is most important that my client's feel comfortable and safe so they can bring honesty and transparency to our sessions to receive the most benefit from the counselling experience. I work collaboratively with my clients to create a trusting and comfortable space.
