About
Personalized, reliable therapy that works. Online therapy Alberta-wide and in-person. Book a free 15-minute consultation on my website.
If you're dealing with intrusive thoughts, intense emotions like anger or grief, communication issues, or trauma—from combat, abuse, assault, accidents, loss or betrayal—I can help. I work with adults and couples facing PTSD, anxiety, depression, panic, stress, ADHD, and relationship issues. I specialize in therapy for veterans, active CAF military members, police (RCMP), corrections, emergency medical and healthcare workers (paramedics, nurses, doctors), and fire rescue. I also work with the general public. We’ll work to help you feel better and overcome life’s challenges.
Using a science-based approach, I'll help you live a happier, healthier, and more productive life aligned with your values. I focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Couples Therapy (CBCT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I combine Socratic questioning with mindfulness to help you observe and process thoughts and emotions.
Drawing from my experience as a Canadian Military Intelligence Officer and PTSD research on veterans and first responders, I’ll help you develop new skills and insights. Together, we’ll identify and overcome obstacles, while deepening your understanding of thoughts, actions, emotions, and experiences, giving you a fresh perspective and a clear path forward.
Therapies:
-In couples therapy, I employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Couples/Conjoint (CBCT) to enhance the relationship by improving connection, communication, and understanding.
-For anxiety I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with exposures and response prevention.
-I'm also trained in Sex Therapy and help couples increase intimacy, or men with erectile dysfunction (ED) in a supportive and professional setting.
